The Tata Curvv is a mid-size SUV-coupe that looks like a coupe but has the space and stance of an SUV. It comes in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) versions, and it is aimed at a competitive and fast-growing part of the Indian car market.
Design and Size
Tata Motors calls the Curvv a “SUV-coupe” because of its unique, sleek shape. The roofline is like that of a coupe, and it gets narrower toward the back, making it look sporty and dynamic. The outside design has sharp LED lights, linked LED taillights, and sequential LED DRLs. It has 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels and features like flush door handles with a welcome light, depending on the model. The engine and how it works
The Tata Curvv has different powertrain options to meet the needs of different customers:
A 1.2-liter GDi turbo-petrol engine with a maximum power output of 123 bhp. You can get it with either a manual or a 7-speed DCA (Dual Clutch Automatic) transmission.
The diesel engine is a Kryojet with a 1.5-liter capacity that makes 116 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. You can get this engine with a manual or a 7-speed DCA, which is the first of its kind.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Variant: The Curvv.ev comes with two battery pack choices: a 45 kWh pack that is said to have a range of 430 km and a 55 kWh pack that is said to have a range of 502 km. In just 8.6 seconds, the EV variant can go from 0 to 100 km/h.
Safety and Features
Tata has added a lot of high-tech features and safety systems to the Curvv. The car comes with six airbags and a lot of other safety features, such as a 360-degree camera, Hill Descent Control, Hill Assist, and a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.
