The Galaxy S25 FE is the newest member of Samsung’s popular Fan Edition line. This new device is designed to be a more affordable way to get into the Galaxy S25 series. It has a great mix of high-end features, performance, and the newest Galaxy AI capabilities. The S25 FE, which was announced on September 4, 2025, is going to be a strong competitor in the crowded flagship-adjacent market.

A Better Design and a Beautiful Display

The Galaxy S25 FE has a sleek and familiar look that is similar to the main S25 series. It has a high-end haze finish and a two-tone aluminum frame. You can choose from a wide range of colors, such as Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White. It is Samsung’s thinnest and lightest FE phone so far, measuring only 7.4mm thick and weighing 190g.

The device has a big 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen that refreshes at a smooth 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects the screen, and it can get as bright as 1900 nits, which makes colors pop and makes it easy to see outside. The floating camera design and thinner bezels make for a more immersive viewing experience.

Top Performance and Better Battery

The Samsung Exynos 2400 chipset, which is built on a 4nm process, powers the Galaxy S25 FE. This deca-core processor and 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM work together to give you fast and powerful performance for everything from gaming to multitasking. The phone also has a vapor chamber that is 10% bigger, which helps with thermal management and keeps the phone running well even when it is doing hard tasks.

The battery is one of the most important improvements. The S25 FE has a bigger 4900mAh battery, which is a big improvement over the S25. With a compatible adapter (sold separately), it can charge up to 65% in just 30 minutes with 45W wired fast charging. The device can also charge wirelessly at 25W and charge wirelessly in reverse.

Camera Experience with AI

The S25 FE’s camera hardware may be similar to its predecessor, but its software and AI integration are what really make it stand out. The back of the phone has a flexible triple-camera system:

A 12MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP main sensor with OIS
A telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 8MP resolution

There is a new 12MP selfie camera on the front that takes clearer pictures that are more interesting.

The newest version of Samsung’s AI-powered ProVisual Engine makes taking pictures better by adding features like “Low noise mode” for better night shots and “Super HDR in video” for more realistic colors. The phone also has advanced editing tools built in, like Generative Edit, which can intelligently remove or move objects and fill in backgrounds, and Audio Eraser, which helps get rid of unwanted background noise from recordings.

Software and How Long It Lasts

The Galaxy S25 FE comes with One UI 8 based on Android 16 right out of the box. This includes a number of new AI features from the flagship S25 series, such as Circle to Search and Gemini Live. Samsung is also making a strong promise to support the product for a long time, with seven generations of OS updates and seven years of security updates. This makes sure that the device will be safe and up-to-date for many years to come.

Cost and Availability

There are three storage options for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: 8GB of RAM with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of internal storage. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs $650, which is a good price for people who want a flagship-like experience without the flagship price.
