Oppo’s famed flagships are already out in China and now they’re planning to bring them to the rest of the world. The Chinese brand announced an October 21 launch in Mallorca Spain for its Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max smartphones, a significant milestone that solidifies their ambitions to succeed in a competitive environment by offering flagship phones with stellar camera quality and long battery life.

The big announcement? The camera. The new Find X10 Pro Max will be the first smartphone ever to combine three 200-megapixel sensors on its main, ultra-wide, and telephoto cameras. Oppo says it’s built with Hasselblad and focused on producing more realistic color and higher levels of detail than previous generations. On the standard Find X10, you’ll find twin 200-megapixel sensors for the main and telephoto, with a solid ultra-wide lens, capable of 4K video at 120 frames per second and 8K at 30 frames per second. LUMO True Image Engine, a new processor developed by Oppo, works behind the scenes to boost contrast and skin tones for natural-looking images without the need for extensive editing.

Beyond the cameras, the phones offer notable everyday improvements. Both models include an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is expected to provide two days of use for most users. In some regions, the capacity is listed as 7 150mAh but the emphasis remains on battery life. Fast charging is supported with 80W wired and approximately 50W wireless options. The displays are LTPO AMOLED panels with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness suitable for outdoor viewing. MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 series chips are used, with the Pro Max featuring the more advanced 2nm version for improved sustained performance.

Oppo’s also brought some useful software features. Open Gate Capture allows recording from the entire sensor frame so users can later crop and recompose shots to fit a different aspect ratio. The phone ships with ColorOS 17 atop Android 17, and OPPO touts AI software features that organise photos and chains multiple steps to carry out a task based on a command.

The worldwide debut is happening at an interesting moment, with OnePlus retreating from several Western markets and Oppo occupying the space with a camera-focused device. Pre-orders are now live in some markets, but the exact availability and pricing details will be announced at the event in Mallorca. Choices are a premium palette of gentle shades to complement the premium body that Oppo has developed over the years.

For those who want plenty of light and sharp detail of distant or sweeping scenery in a single device, the Find X10 range gets your message across. The 200-megapixel triple on the Pro Max is real, and offers creators a level of flexibility that smaller sensors can’t match once you start zooming and cropping into your shot later. With a huge battery and smooth software, these phones feel aimed at end-to-end shooting days in the field and more leisurely every day use, rather than episodic performance bursts.
