It also has a 270 kW (362 hp) permanent magnet motor. The long-range RWD version has a CLTC-rated range of up to 820 km (509 miles), while the base RWD model has a range of 702 km (436 miles). The all-wheel-drive (AWD) version has a 167 kW (224 hp) front motor that works with the rear motor to give it a total output of 437 kW (586 hp). It can go 750 km (466 miles). All versions can go as fast as 230 km/h (143 mph).

The P7 can charge at 5C speeds thanks to its 800-volt architecture, which gives it a peak power of 486 kW. In just 10 minutes, this lets the car add 512 km (318 miles) of range, and under perfect conditions, it can charge from 10% to 80% in 11.3 minutes. These numbers are among the best in the business, which makes the P7 a good choice for long trips. The Brembo brakes on the car make it easy to stop, and its low energy use and advanced thermal management system help it do well in endurance tests, like driving 3,961 km in 24 hours, which is a world record.
